Delivery & Shipping information

We are using fast and the most cost effective courier services to ensure the efficient delivery of your order. By law, we are required to deliver the order to the cardholder's address, however, to your convenience, we can deliver your items directly to you, to your customer or to the site whichever the address you wish to receive. When you add another delivery address while making the purchase, just select deliver to a different address or person when you are checking out or go to My Account, where you can manage your address list. All addresses will be saved and available to choose every time when you make the order.

You must do all that you reasonably can to enable delivery to take place at the given time and place. If you delay the delivery, or delivery fails because you have not taken appropriate steps, we will try to arrange for an alternative delivery date within 30 days of the failed delivery. If delivery fails as a result of circumstances within your reasonable control, the cost of any re-delivery shall be borne by you. Brifix.co.uk and the couriers will endeavour to deliver your goods on the estimated delivery day or within a reasonable time thereafter, but does not guarantee the date and time for delivery and shall not be liable to the Customer for any losses or claims of any kind whatsoever in respect of the delay. All shortages/damages must be reported to us within 48hrs to enable a refund or replacement to be sent.
All deliveries are made to kerbside at the nearest access point to the delivery address from the courier. Due to company public liability and insurance policy, it is not our responsibility to take goods into your address. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible. If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road or area is subject to a vehicle weight or width restriction or road closure, please inform us at the time of order. We can only advise an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are finally made at the courier’s discretion subject to the road or weather or any other possible conditions which may delay or change the delivery date or time. We will only pass on your contact details to the courier at your content, but can not only make a courier contact you to advise delivery times, we can only request this. If a courier arrives at your address and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because you are not there, you will be liable for any additional costs incurred. approximate delivery times will be advised at the time of order whenever possible. Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery. If you receive a damaged or missing item, make sure it’s noted on the courier’s paperwork and contact us immediately with your concern by email or by phone. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. Brifix do our utmost to avoid any damage by choosing the best couriers available. The order is deemed to be accepted and completed if no claims is made within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur the return delivery charge where applicable. If the item received is defected, you should contact us immediately for the replacement within 3 days unless otherwise stated, at our discretion, we are entitled to charge item price including the delivery charge.
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. You are therefore advised not to schedule or commence any installation work until or after you have received your order and checked all the goods for any defects or missing parts. This will enable you to resolve any technical questions or to order specific additional fittings as necessary.
 
Brifix.co.uk can deliver to mainland UK (Great Britain) addresses and offer delivery to remote or any off-shore location, including but not limited to the Inner and Outer Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland, Isle of Man. The delivery charge may vary, you should contact us for details.
All orders will be delivered to a single address. Any multiple delivery address needs to be informed at the time order placed and the delivery charge will be recalculated.
Dispatch
All orders received by website, by email or by phone before every 2pm Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays & Christmas week) shall be dispatched in the same day using our standard service, unless otherwise stated subject to stock availability. All completed orders received after cut-off time Monday - Friday shall be dispatched the following working day unless stated otherwise subject to stock availability.
All Deliveries on our standard service will be made Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. (Except Bank Holidays & Christmas week), unless specially requested. Please note due to adverse weather conditions we cannot guarantee next working day delivery to some parts of the UK. Some of our smaller, light-weight items may be delivered using the Royal Mail 1st class post service, other deliveries are signed for courier services, you are responsible to ensure either you or some one on behalf of you can sign the parcel. 
 
Tracking

Once we have dispatched your order we shall email you to advise you of your tracking number. In the event that a delivery is attempted on the scheduled day and there is no one available to receive and sign for the consignment, the courier will leave a card. This card will offer you alternative means by which to receive your delivery. It is vitally important that you quickly contact the delivery depot to re-arrange a time that is suitable to you. If you arrange for a re-delivery at a time convenient and if the re-delivery is made at the scheduled time and there is no-one to receive and sign for the consignment then you may be required to pay for the cost of the re-delivery attempt.The undelivered consignment will be held at your local depot for a further 3 days, but if the depot is not contacted within this time frame the consignment will be sent back to us and you may incur further charges for this delivery back to our warehouse and such will be deducted when the refund is required.

Availability

While we endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if we have insufficient stock to supply or deliver the goods ordered and paid for by you, we may, at our discretion, supply or deliver a substituted product or refund you the price paid for such goods as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days or, in the case of an account customer, we may, in our absolute discretion, as soon as possible raise a credit to offset the amount invoiced to you. Your order will be fulfilled by the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation or, if no delivery date is specified, then within a reasonable time of the date of the Dispatch Confirmation, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Please note that all delivery dates are estimates only and we shall have no liability to you in relation to such delivery dates not being met.

Overseas Deliveries

For overseas deliveries, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Brifix.co.uk, you are considered the importer of the order and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with our products and services. Please let us know if you are not entirely satisfied with our products or our service, so that we can rectify the situation. If you are not satisfied with the order you have received from us you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery at your cost and risk. We will exchange or refund the sales price of any unused items returned to us, as sold in their original condition, we cannot refund delivery charges. Before returning items please telephone us during opening hours or send us an email stating your reason. Once we have received back the items in their original condition we shall process your refund.
If we arrange the return of non-faulty goods to us, then the cost price of the return carriage will be deducted from the refund due to you. If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery, we will exchange the items or issue a full refund to you. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned items.
If we are unable to supply any of the goods ordered and you are willing to accept a delay in delivery we shall deliver the order till the items are in stock.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Please note that Brifix can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of Brifix error. If an order has been dispatched further charges may apply. In the case of a verbal order Brifix will always read back your order at the time, and your agreement will form a contract. Brifix are unable to cancel or refund any orders paid on special order items after they have been ordered.
Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods and the amounts to be recredited to you.
You may only return an item that is unwanted under the following criteria:
The item is in an 'as new condition'. It must be returned to us in it's original condition unused and in it's original packaging which should not be marked or damaged
 e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging marking the product at all.It should be returned with the original box, packaging, accessories. Do not write directly on the Box, You notify us in writing by letter or email within 7 working days of receipt of the item and return them within 30 days. We recommend you keep a copy of this.
If you have taken delivery for your goods, we will refund the total amount paid for the goods, less the cost incurred by us for collection providing that all goods must be re-packed as they were received. Refunds will be made to the account that was initially used to make the purchase, within 28 days of cancellation.
Please note we are only able to replace identical products, so if you wish to order additional items it will be treated as a new order. The additional delivery charge may apply. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Refunds Policy

We will examine the returned Product and will notify you of any refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full. In any event you should contact us before returning ANY goods.
We will only offer refunds for defective products inside of 30 days from date of purchase, thereafter we will offer an exchange or repair as appropriate.

Cancellations

Orders placed for special order made-to-order can not be cancelled once the item and can only be returned unless they are faulty.
You may cancel orders at any time before they are dispatched to you by e-mail including your order number, postcode and contact telephone number or simply call us .
We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange but should a damaged in transit or known faulty product be used, we will not accept any liability for its performance or consider any claim.
In the unlikely event that a special order product is faulty, the item can be returned to us, with proof of purchase, for a full refund (including delivery charge). Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged through our nominated carrier, where the cost of the return will be at our expense. Should a special order product need to be returned for any other reason, you must return the item to us, with proof of purchase at its original condition you received.

Risk And Title

Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.
Upon delivery of the goods to you, the goods shall be at your risk. In spite of delivery having been made, ownership (also known as “title”) in the goods shall not pass to you until you have paid the price for the goods in full and no other sums whatsoever shall be due to us from you. Until title in the goods passes from us, you shall: (i) not be entitled to use the goods; (ii) safely hold the goods for us; (iii) return the goods to us immediately if we ask you to; and (iv) be liable to us for any loss, damage or destruction of the goods. In addition, until title in the goods passes from us to you, you shall store the goods at your own cost separately from all other goods in your possession and marked in such a way that they are clearly identified as our property.
